Page to page linking with in your web site or blog is another why to increase page rank and keep visitors on your site. Link back to a related post to let visitors know the topic was covered previously. When linking use a descriptive word or phrase or the page title as the link. Don't use; go 'here' as the link, keep the link descriptive. This lets the web spider know what page it needs to retrieve.

If your coding the page your self, use the "title=" attribute to further describe the linked page.
Pictures work the same way if they are used as a link to another page. Use the "alt=" and "title=" tags to describe the picture and the linked page. Web spiders will cache your gif file, but don't know what it represents with out the "alt" tag.
