Once you generate a page address for a web site or a title for a blog entry, don't change it. It takes 3 months for a new page to get a Page Rank, 4 months if you allow time for the web spider to crawl your new page. So if you change the title after you've been spidered, you push back the time until you get a Ranking. If you change the page title after you have a page rank, your new page goes back to a page rank of zero [for 4 months]. You do not want a zero page rank. Also; all the pages that point to your page won't find it, because the address is different.

The best way to track any page's Google Ranking is to use the Google Tool bar which is free to down load. You can tell in an instant what any page ranking is. The most common cause of a zero ranking, is because it's a new page. However be careful of link requests from sites with a zero Rank. There is always a chance that they lost their Ranking because of some shady web site practice [trying to trick the search engines]. |
Of course your web site has to be 'approveable', and can't contain certain topics or words that will get your site cancelled. Certain words will trigger Public Service Ads [which don't pay]. Look up 'adsense trigger words'.
