Frequency accuracy vs. power usage for different types
Oscillator Accuracy vs. Type

The chart shows the accuracy of different types of Oscillators and frequency standards vs the amount of power they require. The Oscillator [XO] has the lowest accuracy and also requires the least amount of power. The Rubidium [Rb] and Cesium [Cs] standards are the most accurate, but also consume the most power [Atomic Clock Standards].
The Temperature Controlled Oscillator [TCXO] and the Oven Controlled Oscillator [OCXO] devices are the two most common styles that would be found on a Printed Wiring Board [PWB]. Note that the OCXO device consumes much more power than the TCXO device, but is also has better accuracy.
