Web Browser(s)

There are four main web browsers offered for free. Stats from this web site indicate:
Windows IE which has 75.6 percent of the market, Firefox which has about 16.3 percent of the market, Opera has 1.7 percent, and Mozilla has 2.7 percent of the market.
The Netscape browser uses a lesser version of Firefox. The Netscape web browser adds its own content but is built from the Firefox code base.
The Opera web browser was developed under its own code base and advertised as vary fast ~ it went banner free a few months ago.
A new browser based on the open-source code of Firefox is called NVU which came out the middle of 2005.
I haven't seen any hits from it yet [and not used it yet].
