There is no mounting hardware required for a snap-action switch.
The graphic below shows one example of a snap-in switch, but any style could be a snap-in.

Note that the term snap action refers to the lever action of a switch and not how it mount to a panel.
So snap-in refers to mounting and snap-action refers to switch movement.
