This is a general listing of PC Chip Set Manufacturers used in the Personal Computer [PC]. The types of products or IC devices they produce are listed under the company name, in alphabetic order. The first set of manufacturers produce Processor Chip-Sets for Intel and AMD processors. Chip Sets for processors are called either NothBridge or Southbridge, although these days the Nothbridge functions have been ported to the processor. The list that follows are companies which produce other types of chip-sets [HDD, Video, and so on]
