card format which was introduced in 2006.

Memory Stick Micro is the smallest of the Memory Stick formats:
the Standard-size Memory Stick media measures
50.0mm x 21.5mm x 2.8mm [Width x Height x Depth],
and the Memory Stick
Duo media measures 31.0mm x 20.0mm x 1.6mm [Width x Height x Depth].
Memory Stick Micro uses an 11-pin connector [or maybe a 10-pin].
As off 2009 Memory Stick Micro is being dropped in favor of MicroSD.

Planned storage capacities include 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB.
The theoretical maximum capacity is 32GB with a maximum data transfer rate of 160 Mbps.

Implementation Hint: Don't purchase a device that uses Memory Stick Micro, because they are no longer supported.
Yet another out-dated format dropped in favor of something faster. Memory stick formats are a dime-a-dozen.
