Class; primarily refers to the base material and finish used on
the connector, and also if the connector is available in either (or both)

or III. The series just break the connectors up by coupling type and is
already covered by the Class designator. Series I is type B, bayonet
coupling, Series II is type T, Threaded coupling. The example, Class R,
