As a new processor are released every year, I would have to assume that this 4 year old low-power version is also out-dated.
Although sometimes only the clock speed is changed, leaving the pinout and signal assignments unchanged.
However it does provide a nice depiction of a PGA package, or at least a different style.
The primary purpose of showing the picture is to provide another example of a chip using a pin grid array.
